Daniel David Anderson, Jr.

Dan Anderson, died January 14, 2014 at Tara at Thunderbolt Nursing Center. Born November 7, 1934 in Evans County, he was the son of the late Daniel D. Anderson and Uvalda McCorkle Anderson.

Dan grew up in Bulloch County where he graduated from Nevils High School. His career dealt primarily in sales. He was employed as an automobile salesman for many years with Backus Cadillac-Pontiac and retired from auto sales at Helton Motor Co. During his retirement, Dan worked part time as a courier for several businesses.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Webb Anderson of Savannah; sister, Catherine Jack Brannen and nephews, Jackie Jill and Wayne Kim Brannen all of Statesboro; niece, Cerie Brannen McDonald of Atlanta; and several great nieces and nephews. Dan is also survived by brothers-in-law, Robert M. Webb of Maryland; W. Aubrey Juanita Webb and nephew, Bradley
Sonia Webb of Virginia and nephew, Gregory Webb of California.

Sincere appreciation is given to the medical staff at St. Joseph's Hospital and Tara at Thunderbolt Nursing Center for their care of Dan during his illness.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Wilmington Island United Methodist Church with Rev. James C. Sapp and Pastor Betty Byrd officiating.
